So my guess was right nobody missed me ....! I have been meaning to post another few pics but I am so 80's and really secretly despise social media (don't let on though as I am pretty sure I have to do it with being an illustrator!) I worked pretty much the whole of the summer but
I did manage to get a few G &T's down my throat while having a break in my hammock, so it wasn't all bad...

I can't believe it's the last day of September already and  that the Halloween wreath is up on the door, Where'd the year go !

Working on a few new projects this morning and suddenly had a text from my daughter at college explaining that during her law lesson her lecturer on entering the room had  a cardboard cut out of Jennifer Aniston and proceeded to jump on her head to demonstrate instances off assault. The kids just sat in stunned silence, not the reaction perhaps he was going for ...Un conventional I grant you but
my mind trailed off Laurel and Hardly style as I imagined what my daughter would have done is he'd smashed Tom Hiddleston to pieces instead.  It wouldn't have been pretty !

So I'm guessing nobody missed me !

Well looking at this sad and sorry Blog that hasn't had an entry since 2013 I better get cracking...I've been pushed out into the light by the lovely James Shaw at Tiny tree books because this October we have some little books coming out written by the lovely Dee Mullan. I much prefer hiding in a cupboard painting away but here we are .....

To be fair we collaborated on these delightful books a long, long, long time ago and it kind of got shelved, like so many things in life.

Since then my hairs gone grey, two of my kids have gone off and gotten married, and my husband has retired!
Whhhoooosh!  there goes my life kind of fast has happened since I hit 50.

I do still have one at home eating all the grapes and growing much taller than I'll ever be, who decided she might study law and English instead of art, as she got an eight in her GCSE's.... for writing about rape and vampires on the topic of 'Hunger'...Margaret Atwood eat your heart out!

I have been a busy bee since abandoning my blog and have illustrated plenty of books.

I have finished off work for other illustrators who were unable to finish their illustrations  due to other commitments (I bet they were just eating cake) but plenty of work was done none the less. (Honest)

Below are the four little books out shortly that are suitable for any child interested in the topics covered.  They tackle environmental issues, anxiety, pace of life, and greed.

It was a total blast to illustrate these titles, the brief being 'If Tim Burton and Dr. Seuss were to have a love child!
I will post more news about publication dates as soon as I have them
